South African flavours have always played a big part in my love for cooking so naturally I HAD to pay particular homage to the country of my wife’s birth, from whom I learnt so much about their cuisine.
The Ambassador is inspired by flavours of various fruits – peaches, apricots & raisins – and the sharpness of apple cider vinegar and lemons. All combined with an array of amazing spices and sweetness. A South African favourite I want to share with the UK. So versatile…..and delicious!
A definite must in everyone’s BBQ & kitchen lineup! Best of all, this sauce is FREE of most severe allergens.

Alec Walker –
This sauce is absolutely superb! Wonderful fruity notes, it’s like Mrs Ball’s Chutney, only a million times more intense. Mix it into the meat to make a fantastic South African Bobotie, or just use it to dip anything into!!

The Ambassador Sauce from Waz’s Sauce Hut is a winner, a game changer in fact! This South African inspired sauce is almost pickle like, has a perfect rounded fruity sweetness, balanced with light savoury notes, apple cider acidity and a tiny background heat. It pairs so well with savoury dishes (hams, sausages and cheeses, that’ll be the peaches and apricots) but also lends a perfect sweetness to fattier meats and takes chicken dishes to another level
It’s so well rounded that I can’t stop using this sauce. 😉

This sauce is banging!! It goes great with all the meats I’ve tried it with – chicken, pork even beef burnt ends mixed with Guinness (or your favourite stout 😉 ) #foodheaven #flavourexplosion 5 *****
